Designs and writes the scripts required to extract, transform, clean, and move data and metadata, so it can be loaded into a data warehouse, data mart, operational data store, metadata repositories, or business intelligence environments.\n\nSpecific Responsibilities Include :\n* Develop, test and implement efficient ETL (Extraction, Transform and Load) code to populate data integration layers (data warehouses, ODS and data marts) to support business requirements.\n* Plan and support lifecycle of data warehousing infrastructure components including database, operating system, ETL tools as well as various vendor products.\n* Optimize the data environment in order to efficiently access enterprise data.\n* Monitor performance of data warehouse ETL processes to ensure service level agreements with our users are met and implement tuning as needed to address scalability issues typical in large data warehouse implementations.\n* Maintain and manage technical meta data for data warehousing environments.\n* Develop guidelines and procedures governing enterprise-wide data collection and extraction.\n* Develop and implement data naming conventions for enterprise data warehouse systems.\n* Work closely with the database administrators with physical database designs, performance metrics and backup/recovery requirements\n* Support multiple test and QA data warehouse environments supporting multiple business units.\n* Provides 24/7 support of multiple production data warehouses serving multiple business units. Continuous monitoring of key metrics associated with performance and resource utilization.\n* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other relevant technical experience\n* 5 years professional related experience with Informatica.\n* In depth understanding of data warehouse concepts, methodologies and infrastructure including dimensional data modeling, change data capture, data quality, operational data stores, data warehouses, meta data management, data marts and business intelligence reporting platforms.\n* Knowledge of DBMS indexing and partitioning schemes to identify and optimize performance of ETL and BI reporting layers.\n* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
