Title: N Electrical Design Engineer Senior

You will be expected to work on all aspects of the electrical distribution system at Seabrook Nuclear power plant and with responsibility for complex design engineering tasks. Assignments will include preparation of design changes, calculations and specifications. You will also perform engineering evaluations, and lead troubleshooting teams.
Position assumes a special assignment during refueling outages and an emergency preparedness role. The position requires that within 6-12 months from hire date, the employee assumes an Emergency Response Team position. Accordingly, once the employee assumes the Emergency Response Team position, they are required to report for duty at the assigned emergency station within 50 minutes of the site's emergency activation.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other related Engineering discipline. Minimum of 6 years of Electrical Engineering experience required, nuclear industry experience preferred.
Evaluating/designing control circuits for Appendix R criteria is highly desired, including experience in preparing calculations using ETAP software and design changes in a NAMS environment.
Effective communication and the ability to communicate in group settings is needed and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Demonstrated willingness and confidence to make independent decisions and engage in problem solving.
