Key responsibilities include: Execute the materials management process for assigned areas (production planning, replenishment, blanket purchase orders, evaluation and negotiation of routine procurements); interact with assigned operating business units, legal experts, and ISC personnel; interact externally with the supplier community and industry analysts. Issue site specific material and/or service Purchase Orders/Contract and subsequent Purchase Order Revisions/Amendments equal to or less than $250,000 and manage those Purchase Order/Contracts to completion, inclusive of applicable Records Management. Issue and coordinate BPO releases for materials and services for those items/services on BPO Issue and coordinate AS-6 R320” panel releases for items in the general scope of the agreement by not specifically on the BPO template (in lieu of a separate site PO being issued) and notify Corporate Nuclear Sourcing if the item will be re-procured in the future. Analyze responses to complex bid requests including the ability to distill commercial differences and bring forward succinct recommendations to Sourcing for assistance in selecting the appropriate supplier for contract award. Prepare complex materials supply agreements containing unique terms and conditions with little or no management oversight. Conduct complex negotiations successfully under aggressive time demands. Negotiate and execute purchase orders. Administer policies and programs directed towards providing materials management. Lead and/or participate on materials management project teams. Develop and maintain relationships with business units and suppliers. Drive down the total cost of ownership. Develop new sources of supply for spot buys and monitor ongoing supplier performance. Resolve (i) Supplier Deviation Notice (SDN); (ii) Overage, Shortage, Damaged &amp; Discrepant reports (OSD&amp;D); (iii) invoice discrepancies, (iv) warranty and other commercial/legal issues, with support from Corporate Nuclear Sourcing as necessary and (v) resolve administrative, non-materially significant governance exceptions and interface with Nuclear for business risk exceptions. Repair/Refurbishment Coordinator Sarbanes Oxley (SOx) compliance Lead and/or participate in self assessments Audits Action Requests Document control and records management in accordance with all applicable procedures Conduct business dealings with the highest level of integrity and regard for corporate guidelines, legal and environmental regulations. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements:
* Undergraduate degree with a preference in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or related fields preferred or equivalent supply chain and technical work experience. 
* Minimum of four years related experience and demonstrated success in materials management required.

The Technical Instructor - Radiation Protection is responsible for the analysis, design, development and delivery of training, primarily to PBNP personnel. The Technical Instructor conducts evaluations and assessments to determine the effectiveness of the training process.


The Technical Instructor is responsible for maintaining administrative controls associated with the systematic approach to training (SAT) for the RP training program in accordance with procedural requirements. The Technical Instructor provides initial and continuing training to newly hired and incumbent RP personnel and others as deemed necessary. The Technical Instructor evaluates trainee performance when applicable.

This position is represented by IBEW 2150.

Candidates should possess expertise/familiarity with Radiation Protection power plant operations and be qualified ANSI RP technician. High School diploma required; A higher level degree is desired, but not required.



The position will require the successful completion of the PBNP Instructor Certification Training Program and participation in Instructor Certification continuing training.



Delivery of training occurs in a variety of settings with other instructors and other groups in accordance with the accredited training processes and all applicable codes and regulations.  Occasional shift work and weekends may be required, in addition, some travel may be necessary. The Licensing Engineer will support PBNP in licensing and compliance matters to assure that PBNP operations are conducted in accordance with applicable Federal and State regulations, requirements and licensing bases. The Licensing Engineer will coordinate regulatory or insurance inspections at the site and prepare written submittals to regulatory agencies. The Licensing Engineer will ensure that issues posed by representatives of regulatory agencies are understood, communicated to appropriate plant staff and that the issues are addressed in a timely manner, with appropriate level of technical rigor. The Licensing Engineer will perform routine maintenance of current licensing basis documents and will prepare required reports.

Candidate should have a solid understanding of nuclear power plant design and of regulatory processes supporting the design and licensing bases including the documentation that supports these processes. Candidate must have strong organizational, written and verbal skills, with demonstrated competencies in technical writing, facilitation and decision-making. The candidate must posses the ability to work in a high impact, time constraining regulatory environment while maintaining a professional relationship with representatives of regulatory agencies.
