Position Specific Description NextEra Energy Partners, LP (NYSE: NEP) is a growth-oriented limited partnership formed by NextEra Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NEE). The renewable energy projects are fully contracted, use industry-leading technology and are located in regions that are favorable for generating energy from the wind and sun. NextEra Energy Partners is looking for experienced energy finance professionals with 5 years of relevant experience to join our team in Juno Beach, Florida. In this role, the successful candidate will play a leading role in the development and implementation of NEP’s broader strategic goals / initiatives. The position requires a strategic, solutions-oriented thinker that can work with key internal stakeholders to deliver critical insights, anticipate market movements, and present informed recommendations and plans that best position NEP in the market.

As a part of NEP’s finance team, the successful candidate will also directly support management in its project and corporate financing activities. As a Sr. Business Management Analyst at NEP, you will be given high levels of ownership and responsibility and participate in the structuring and execution of renewable energy transactions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide market and competitive intelligence, insights, and strategy recommendations to senior leaders and key stakeholders within the company
  • Develop a strategy and framework for how to monitor market trends, competitors, and other forces that could impact NEP’s business
  • Work closely with all NEP teams by providing critical and accurate insights and information to enable strategic outcomes for our business
  • Be the resident, go-to in-house subject matter expert regarding market strategy
  • Build, enhance, and maintain complex transaction financial models
  • Create presentations, information memoranda and other analysis for internal and external audiences Job Overview Employees in this role support the overall P and L management of one or more NextEra generating assets. Individuals review findings to be presented to senior management. This position supports budgeting and forecasting, analyzing P and L variance, participating in ad hoc and special projects and coordinates with other business units regarding initiatives.

Job Duties & Responsibilities • Completes complex financial, operational, or technical project analysis • Conducts analyses regarding issues that have an impact on the operation of a specific functional area and makes recommendations to management • Leads medium to large project teams that support informed decision making within the business unit • Maintains project schedules and reviews team member input and documents for technical accuracy • Performs ad hoc projects, report development, modeling, and other miscellaneous projects • Oversees discretionary capital improvement or restructuring projects for generating assets • Generates invoices for land owner payments • Monitors financings and regulatory requirements for compliance and completion of operational assessments • Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree • Experience:5+ years Preferred Qualifications • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) • Master's - Business Administration • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
